Gurur Yetişkin

Gurur Yetiskin began his cybersecurity career in Belgium and France, where he focused on offensive security and red team research.

After returning to Turkey he deepened that work into cloud security, application security, and international project delivery, going on to hold senior consultant and team-leader positions at globally recognized institutions.

At Deloitte Risk Advisory he delivered penetration testing and security audit services to more than 150 banks and 50 multinational enterprises across the financial, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, automotive, and manufacturing sectors.

He then joined ING Bank as Lead Consultant, leading the RSU team and owning pentest delivery, vulnerability management programs, and test architecture design.

At Paribu he directed Red and Blue Team operations for crypto-asset infrastructure serving millions of users. Since 2023 his work has focused entirely on digital asset and blockchain security.

In 2026 he joined BTCTurk, Turkey’s leading cryptocurrency company and the fourth-oldest exchange in the world, to strengthen its red team capability.

There he leads adversarial simulation, offensive security research, and continuous validation of defensive controls across the platform’s trading, custody, and infrastructure layers.

He holds end-to-end ownership of red team strategy, attack surface management, and high-impact vulnerability research, working alongside engineering and detection teams to harden the organization’s security posture.

The architectures he designs follow OWASP, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK, meeting regulatory requirements while keeping the risk profile in check. He holds CISM, OSWE, OSWP, CEH, BHWH, SAST, and MCP certifications.

Beyond his day-to-day work he is an active member of the OWASP Manchester Chapter. He ranks among the all-time top 50 researchers on Synack Red Team, YesWeHack, and Detectify, and has taken notable placements at competitions hosted at Black Hat.

Outside of security he is drawn to finance and AI.

Since May 2026 he has been devoting a large share of his time to a personal project.
