Since 2017, he has been working in the field of cybersecurity. After starting his education and work experience in Belgium and France, he held senior consultant and team leader positions at global firms such as ING Bank, Deloitte, and Etiya.
His work primarily focuses on application security and cyber threat intelligence. Currently, he is responsible for all cybersecurity activities at a Fintech company with millions of users and continues to advance in his career. He is also a member of the OWASP Manchester Chapter.
At one point, he conducted research on bug bounty platforms such as Synack Red Team, Yeswehack, and Detectify, ranking among the top 50 researchers of all time. He has also achieved notable competition placements at prestigious conferences like Black Hat.
Gurur holds certifications including Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE), Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
Additionally, he enjoys traveling, cycling, and discovering new flavors.
